Dr. Philomena Njeri Mwaura, senior lecturer in philosophy and religious studies, Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya, and OMSC senior mission scholar in residence, will draw on the writings of African women theologians to discuss key themes in African Christianity, for example, the Bible, women’s experience of the church, African culture, Christology, power, and decision making. Cosponsored by United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries. Eight sessions.

Accomodations are payable upon arrival. Apply early—first choice not guaranteed. Meals not included; bring extra funds for meals at a nearby college cafeteria or local restaurants.
If possible, please arrive Mon - Fri, 9am–5pm. When OMSC’s guest rooms are full, participants are referred to a local motel that offers OMSC guests a discount. Accommodation is not available for children of parents who are not long-term OMSC residents.
