March 15 -19, 2010 Dr. Philomena Njeri Mwaura, senior lecturer in philosophy and religious studies, Kenyatta University, Nairobi, Kenya, and OMSC senior mission scholar in residence, will draw on the writings of African women theologians to discuss key themes in African Christianity, for example, the Bible, women’s experience of the church, African culture, Christology, power, and decision making. Cosponsored by United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries. Eight sessions. Single room at OMSC with shared bath, $45 per night (most programs require four nights) I will make my own arrangements for a room Accomodations are payable upon arrival.
